John Albaya has worked in the consulting and chemical industries for the past six years. From 2014 to present, they have been employed at TSG Consulting as a Senior Consultant and Chemist and REACH Project Manager. In their role as Senior Consultant, they manage numerous EU REACH consortia, overseeing dossier updates, data sales and testing programs totalling over €1 million. John is also responsible for managing consortium finances, third-party consultants and liaising with industry associations. As Chemist and REACH Project Manager, they are a specialist in the identity and physicochemical sections of EU Biocides, Plant Protection and REACH dossiers and manages REACH consortia. In addition, they have a good knowledge and understanding of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP). From 2014 to present, John has also worked at the University of Sheffield as an Administrator.
John Albaya completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a MChem in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield in 2009.
