Victor Igelmo has a diverse work experience, starting their career as an Automation Technician at Netblue Soluciones Informaticas in 2009. Victor then worked as a Figure Skating Coach at C.D. Patinalia from 2009 to 2017. In 2013, they had a role as a Maintenance Electrician at Axaragua S.L., specializing in electrical installations and PLC automation tasks. Victor also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Skövde from 2018 to 2021, working on projects related to digital continuity and context-aware augmented reality experiences. Victor then progressed to become a Doctoral Student in Informatics, focusing on simulation-oriented multi-level modeling of manufacturing systems. Currently, Victor is working as a Technology Implementation Engineer at TSET.
Victor Igelmo began their education in 2009 at IES Mare Nostrum in Spain, where they earned a Vocational Education and Training (VET) diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. After completing their VET, they pursued further education and enrolled at IES Juan de la Cierva where they obtained a Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Electrical/Electronics Equipment Installation and Repair. In 2013, they enrolled at Universidad de Málaga and earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they completed in 2017. Victor then went on to attend the University of Skövde from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Automation Engineer Technology. Victor continued their studies at the University of Skövde, obtaining a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Automation Engineer Technology in 2020.
