Michael R. is a Cloud Architect at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, since May 2022, specializing in cloud architecture, Azure, Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, networking, Kubernetes, FinOps, governance, and security. Prior to this, Michael served as a Cloud Engineer focusing on Azure Cloud and DevOps migrations at the same company and held the position of Application Developer at Atos where responsibilities included Agile full stack development, API technical design, and coaching. Michael also gained experience as a Software Developer at xFIS IT-Lösungen GmbH, Frontend Development and DevOps roles, and worked as an Information Security Expert at IT-Services der Sozialversicherung GmbH, dealing with social engineering and incident response. Earlier experience includes serving as a paramedic at Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Österreichs. Michael graduated from HTL St. Pölten in 2016 with a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering.
