Aamir Mansoor has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Aamir started their career at Rogers in 2010, where they worked as a Web Applications Developer. In 2011, Aamir joined SugarCRM as a Software Engineer before moving on to Causes, where they held the same role from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, they also contributed as an Open Source Developer at Review Board. Aamir then joined Apple (FileMaker) as a Software Engineer in 2012, followed by a brief stint at Facebook in the same role. Aamir worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer for a few months in 2014 before co-founding Prospect, where they currently serve as the CTO and Co-Founder since November 2014.

Aamir Mansoor attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Computer Science with an option in Software Engineering. Additionally, they completed a minor in Management Studies.
