Mark A. Thornton currently serves as the Director of Field Operations for Georgia at TruVista, a position held since January 2023. With a robust background in telecommunications, Mark has previously worked as Operations Manager at Windstream and held various managerial roles at Ansco & Associates, LLC, where responsibilities included overseeing FTTC/FTTP conversions for AT&T in the Southeast. Mark's experience also includes being an Account Executive for MATRIX Resources, a Contract Instructor for AT&T, and serving as Area Manager in different capacities at AT&T and BellSouth Business. Mark's extensive career in the telecommunications sector began as a Field Service Technician in 1979 at BellSouth Telecommunications Inc., eventually leading to managerial roles overseeing operations and field dispatch. Education includes graduation from Forsyth Central High School in 1978.
