Brian Funk is a Senior R&D Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry, currently working at TRUVIC since May 2022. Previously, Brian held similar roles at Cordis and Velano Vascular, Inc., where responsibilities included designing vascular access products for high-volume manufacturing, developing prototypes for the PIVO Needle-free Blood Draw Device, and conducting rigorous testing to validate device performance. Brian's earlier career includes a position as a Product Development Engineer at Vention Medical, where project proposals and SolidWorks models were created. Brian also contributed to team organization as Road Team Coordinator at Cal Poly Wheelmen and gained quality assurance experience through internships at Roku. Brian holds a Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
