Mohammad Sotoudeh is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and process development within the biotechnology and medical device sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Truvian since March 2022, Mohammad previously held key leadership positions, including Director of Cell Process Engineering at ViaCyte, Director of PD/Manufacturing Technical Operations at GenMark Diagnostics, and Principal Engineer at Vital Therapies, Inc. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Mohammad has demonstrated expertise in directing cross-functional teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and overseeing the successful transfer of new products from research and development to market. Academic credentials include a PhD and an MS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
