Denesh Pohar is a seasoned engineering leader with significant experience in the technology sector, currently serving as VP of Engineering at Truveta since December 2020. In this role, Denesh oversees full stack engineering teams, MLOps, and compliance processes, and previously led the Truveta Studio App Experiences team, significantly expanding the team size and driving technical strategy. Prior to Truveta, Denesh worked at Microsoft for over twelve years, co-founding Project EmpowerMD and serving as the lead architect for Power BI Desktop. Denesh began career as a software developer in various roles, contributing to innovative projects and startups, and holds a BASc in Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
