Gert Wallis is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at TruStage since April 2012, Gert previously held senior software engineering roles at Priority Health and was an Agile Coach at Open Solutions, where significant efforts were made to enhance agile practices. Gert also spent 12 years as the Director of Software Engineering at COWWW Software, pioneering one of the first web-based document archival solutions. Previous positions include roles at Artibles Inc, Corporate Information Systems, Pink Software, and Gold Fields, where Gert contributed to various software and web development projects. Gert holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria, earned in the mid-1980s.
