Ciera Maul started their work experience at Tartaglia Realty in 2006 as an Office Manager, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined Trust Automation as a Sales and Demand Coordinator, and later became the Customer Service and Sales Manager in 2015.

Ciera Maul attended San Luis Obispo High School from 2002 to 2006 and graduated with a High School degree. Afterward, they went on to California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2006 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
