Lizzie Green is an experienced professional in social action and advocacy, currently serving as the Organising and Local Mobilisation Manager at The Trussell Trust since April 2024. Prior to this, Lizzie held the position of Campaigns Manager at Sense from January 2020 to April 2024, and served as a Youth Social Action Policy Advisor at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) between January 2019 and January 2020. Lizzie's significant contributions to youth advocacy began at Girlguiding, where responsibilities included developing the national advocacy programme 'Action for Change' and managing regional networks. Lizzie's earlier roles included working as a Roadshow and Events Executive at Diabetes UK, a Champions Network Project Officer at Mind, and a Services Coordinator at Crisis. Lizzie's academic background includes a fellowship in Social Leadership from Clore Social Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Lancaster University.
