Jessica Foster is an experienced professional in church engagement and external affairs. Since March 2022, Jessica has served as the Head of Church Engagement at The Trussell Trust. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as the Bishop’s Chaplain for the Church of England from July 2020 to March 2022, focusing on external affairs for the Bishop of Birmingham. Jessica has also contributed as a Tutor at The Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education from September 2016 to March 2022, specializing in interfaith relations and mentoring ordinands. Earlier career experiences include a Development Worker position at Near Neighbours from July 2011 to March 2019 and serving as the Director of Communications for the Diocese of Birmingham from November 2004 to August 2010. Jessica holds a degree in English from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1989 and 1992.
