Brian Lam has a varied work experience that includes roles in software engineering and project management. Brian has worked at TruRating as a Software Engineer since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Dvelop.IT as a Project Manager and Software Engineer from July 2018 to December 2018, and as a Software Engineer from July 2016 to December 2018. Brian also gained experience as a Junior Programmer at Intamac Systems from August 2014 to August 2015, focusing on front-end development using JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript Libraries. Before their career in software, they worked as a Catering Assistant at Canton Express from June 2009 to September 2011, where they coordinated operations, delegated tasks, served customers, handled complaints, and managed cash transactions.

Brian Lam completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & Accounting from De Montfort University in the years 2009 to 2012. Brian later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing at the same institution from 2012 to 2014.
