Joakim Lindblom has held a variety of positions in the technology industry since 1997. Joakim began their career as an R&D Management Consultant at Odisea, followed by a role as Vice President of Platform Development & Strategy at ManyOne Networks. At ManyOne, they were also Vice President of Partner Development, where they were responsible for the development of the company's Stewardship program. In 2009, Joakim became the CEO & CTO of Trunity, where they co-founded the company and acted as the chief architect of the Trunity e-learning platform. Joakim was also responsible for product development, engineering, and operations leadership for the platform.

Joakim Lindblom received their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Caltech between 1980 and 1982. Joakim then went on to Stanford University where they completed their Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the Applied Physics Department between 1984 and 1990.
