Nhan Tran has over nine years of work experience. In 2011, they began working at Google as a Visual Data Specialist. In 2013, they worked as a Data Analyst for Puget Sound Energy and as a Lead Photo Editor and Photo Editor for zulily. In 2016, they were a Product, UX & UI Designer (Contract) for Makers & Muses. In 2018, they were a Digital Project Manager for Hello Design and a UX/UI Designer (contract) for Addlane. In 2019, they were a Product Designer for BuildLane. Since 2020, they have been a Product Designer and Senior Product Designer for Truepic.

Nhan Tran attended the University of Washington from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained an Interdisciplinary Visual Arts degree in Art and Architecture. In 2016, they attended General Assembly to study UX Design, Research & Strategy. Later that same year, they attended UC San Diego to pursue a Human Centered Design degree. In July 2016, they obtained a certification in Human-Centered Design: an Introduction from Coursera Course Certificates.
