Sarah Whitling

Assistant Director of Professional Development at Trueline

Sarah Whitling has over seven years of professional experience. Sarah started their career in 2013 as a Gallery Manager at Maine Media Workshops. In 2014, they joined the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum as a Marketing Associate and was promoted to Marketing Manager, Media and Video. In 2018, they worked as an Education Field Instructor and Lodge Crew at the Appalachian Mountain Club. Since 2019, they have been working at Trueline in roles such as Assistant Director of Professional Development, Content Developer, and Assistant Content Coordinator.

Sarah Whitling obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Photography from Montserrat College of Art between 2005 and 2009. Sarah then went on to receive their Master's degree in Arts Administration from the University of Oregon between 2011 and 2013. In 2019, they obtained a Registered Maine Guide certification from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife in August, and a Wilderness First Responder certification from SOLO Wilderness Medical School in May.
