Christian Gardner has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. From 2015 to the present, they have been working at True Potential LLP, where they have held various roles. Currently, they serve as the Head of Compliance. Before this position, they were the Head of Monitoring and Control from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Pension Transfer Specialist from 2018 to 2019 and as a Pension Transfer Specialist from 2016 to 2018. In addition, they also worked as a Monitoring and Control Officer and in a compliance role at the company.

Before joining True Potential LLP, Christian worked at Lowes Financial Management from 2010 to 2014 as an Investment Analyst. During their time there, they specialized in structured products and was responsible for conducting internal research, managing comparison services, and handling client contact.

Christian Gardner attended Newcastle Royal Grammar School from 2000 to 2007. Christian then went on to study Economics at Newcastle University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a degree. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK in June 2012. Christian later received a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute in May 2014. In August 2015, they obtained the AF3 certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute and also received a Pensions Update Award. In February 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Compliance from the International Compliance Association. Christian's most recent certifications include AF6 from the Chartered Insurance Institute in April 2020 and an International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association in March 2021.
