Dennis Hakme's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder and COO of TruePillars Pty Ltd since December 2014. Prior to that, they worked at IAG as a Senior Manager of Design Services from October 2012 to November 2014 and as a Consulting Architect from June 2010 to October 2012. Dennis also served as an External Consultant at Accenture from February 2009 to June 2010 and as the CIO of Intrinsic Systems from November 2003 to February 2009. Additionally, they worked at Touchcorp Limited as the CTO from January 1999 to November 2003 and took a career break as a world traveler from March 1998 to November 1998. Dennis began their career as a Consultant - Infrastructure Specialist from July 1997 to March 1998.

Dennis Hakme began their education journey in 1980 at Whitefriars, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during their time there. Dennis later attended La Trobe University from 1985 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
