Kavya Shyam is currently a Private Equity Intern at True North Search since February 2024 and a Consulting Team Member at TAMID at NYU since September 2023. Also, Kavya has been an Instructor at Mathnasium since January 2020, providing tutoring for students in grades 8 and below in mathematics. Previously, Kavya was involved with TAMID at NYU as an EDU Member, where collaboration on a stock pitch for Fiverr and market analysis for SodaStream took place. Experience includes serving as a Mentorship Team Member at NYU Blockchain & Fintech, gaining insights into fintech innovations and publishing articles on blockchain technology. A Leadership Intern at Synchrony in summer 2021 provided exposure to the financial services industry, complemented by participation in the Females For Finance program. Kavya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Data Science at New York University, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a strong academic foundation from Ardrey Kell High School.
