Emily Chan has a wide range of work experience in the media and advertising industry. Starting in 2011, they worked at True North Inc. as an Assistant Media Planner before moving up to roles such as Media Operations Supervisor and Media Operations Manager. In these positions, Emily was responsible for resolving pixel tracking issues, managing reporting and trafficking, implementing tracking strategies, overseeing accounting and budget tracking, and providing training and guidance to colleagues. Emily also worked at Yelp as a Campaign Manager, where they executed and managed digital advertising campaigns and served as the main point of escalation for performance and tracking issues. Currently, Emily holds the position of Director of Media Operations at True North Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing media operations and managing a team.
Emily Chan attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management Economics. In addition to their degree, Emily obtained the Criteo Advertising Professional Certification in February 2023 and the Criteo Technical Specialist Certification in January 2023.
