Grigoris Thanasoulas has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering and software development. Grigoris started their career in 2018 as a Junior Software Engineer at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" where they gained experience in data analysis with Python through a 2-month internship.

In 2020, they joined Arrikto as a Junior DevOps Engineer, where they played a key role in maintaining and integrating Arrikto's local storage system with the Kubernetes Container Storage Interface. Grigoris also designed and implemented extensions for the Kubernetes scheduler and Cluster Autoscaler to optimize workload uptime and reduce overall cluster costs for customers. In 2022, Grigoris was promoted to a Mid-level DevOps Engineer at Arrikto, where they continued to enhance the Kubernetes scheduler and Cluster Autoscaler extensions based on customer feedback and requirements. Grigoris also resolved various customer tickets promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.

In 2023, Grigoris is expected to join True B.V. as a Kubernetes Engineer, where they will utilize their expertise in Kubernetes to contribute to the success of the company.

Grigoris Thanasoulas has a strong educational background, primarily in the field of electrical and computer engineering. Grigoris obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the National Technical University of Athens, where they studied from 2014 to 2022. Prior to that, Grigoris attended the Queen Mary University of London in 2010 for English as a Foreign Language courses.

During their time in high school from 2002 to 2014 at the Senior High School of Zacharo, they completed their Senior High School degree.

In addition to their formal education, Grigoris has also acquired several certifications. Grigoris participated in the IEEEXtreme 10.0 | 24-Hour Programming Competition organized by IEEE in 2016, for which they received a Certificate of Participation. Grigoris also attended the Athens Biotechnology Conference in 2015 and obtained a Certificate of Attendance from Boussias Communications. Furthermore, Grigoris holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science I, obtained in 2013 from edX. Additionally, they have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan.

Apart from their academic pursuits, Grigoris has obtained a Youth Pass Certificate and has completed training courses such as "Social Entrepreneurship as Local Force" and "Mobility of Youth Workers" offered by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program.
