Ramachandran Iyer has extensive work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Ramachandran started their career at Tata Unisys Ltd as a Senior Developer/Analyst from June 1994 to March 1998. Ramachandran then moved to Fujitsu Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Analyst/Developer/Architect from March 1998 to November 2000.
In the year 2000, Ramachandran joined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Developer in Equity Technology, where they automated internal trade booking systems and re-engineered trader actions. Ramachandran held various roles within Goldman Sachs over the years, including Vice President & Head of PARA, QA Automation, and SDLC, where they established the PARA QA automation team and reduced attrition to less than 5%. Ramachandran also led the Bengaluru team as Vice President & Bengaluru Business Unit Head in Controllers Technology.
In 2015, Ramachandran became the Senior Vice President & Global Head of AppBank Operations at Goldman Sachs, where they oversaw the centralization of global production support and introduced machine learning. Ramachandran later served as the Executive Director & Head of Finance Technology India/APAC at JPMorgan Chase & Co, leading various Finance Technology teams and establishing the first-ever Financial Reporting Infrastructure team.
In 2017, Ramachandran returned to Goldman Sachs as a Senior Vice President & Global Technology Manager, leading the firm's Cloud Transformation project for Total Spend Management. Ramachandran also served as the Senior Vice President/Global Head of Pricing Platform and APAC Manager for Reference Data Technology.
Currently, Ramachandran is the Country Head and Vice President of Technology at True Fit Corporation since August 2022.
Ramachandran Iyer completed the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2007-2008. Ramachandran also holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where they achieved distinction and ranked third in college and tenth in the university. In addition, Ramachandran has earned certifications in "Future of Technology: Trends, Strategies, and Innovation Opportunities" and "Business Analytics for Leaders: From Data to Decisions" from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Ramachandran also has an Executive CTO certification from the same institution.
