Shawn Searcy has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development and consulting. Shawn began their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC as a Senior Technical Analyst in 1990 and worked there until 1996. Shawn then joined M.A. Hanna Company as a SAP Basis Administrator in 1996 and continued until 1999. In 1999, they joined PolyOne as a Software Developer, and in 2001, they briefly worked at The Coca-Cola Company as a SAP Basis Consultant. In 2002, Shawn worked at SpeedFam-IPEC Corp as a Software Developer. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Novellus Systems as a SAP ABAP / Java Software Developer and later as a SAP Basis Consultant. In 2005, they joined Network Communications, Inc. as an ASP.NET Web Application Developer, and in 2006, they joined Competitive Solutions, Inc. as a Java Web Application Developer until 2010. Most recently, they have been working at True Anthem as a Software Developer since 2010.

Shawn Searcy attended Nashville State Technical Institute from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Data Processing. Shawn then pursued further education at Kennesaw State University from 1989 to 1990, focusing on Management Information Systems.
