Joseph Pickett, CSPO, CSM has a diverse work experience ranging from software engineering and management roles to professor's assistant and ranch hand positions. Joseph has extensive experience in the software engineering field, having worked as a Director of Software Engineering, Lead Software Engineering Manager, and Software Engineering Manager at Truckstop. Joseph also has experience as a Technical Product Owner and Scrum Master, where they were responsible for managing software releases and facilitating agile events. Additionally, Joseph has experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Tester. Prior to their software engineering roles, they worked at Fujishin Family Cellars as a Sales & Hospitality Associate and at Dixie Creek Ranch as a Ranch Hand, gaining experience in sales, hospitality, farm operations, and animal care. Joseph also worked at The College of Idaho as a Research Assistant and Professor's Assistant, where they conducted research, repaired and updated campus optical telescope and observatory, and analyzed data. Joseph's work experience also includes roles as an Outreach and Communications Intern at Idaho Rivers United and as a Project Coordinator Intern at Idaho Trails Association, where they focused on raising awareness, gathering support, and coordinating trail projects.
Joseph Pickett, CSPO, CSM completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics/Physics at The College of Idaho from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2020 and the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification in March 2017.
