Sam Chastain, CFA, is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Investment Operations Manager at the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sam worked at PIMCO from July 2020 to June 2023, holding positions as Account Associate and Account Analyst. Before PIMCO, Sam gained valuable experience as an Investments Intern at the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System from June 2018 to June 2020. Sam's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance from the same institution.
