Chris Birkett is an experienced professional in software engineering and portfolio management, currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management Platforms at T. Rowe Price since April 2017. Previously, Chris held roles including Lead Software Engineer and Quant Software Consultant at T. Rowe Price, and worked as a Technical Lead at PartPlay until December 2022. Chris's background includes significant experience at UBS Asset Management, where responsibilities included developing portfolio construction tools within Asset Management Front Office IT, and prior roles at Imperial College London and UBS Investment Bank. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College London and has a foundational education from Stockport Grammar School.
