David Haglin has over 30 years of professional experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1983 as a Software Engineer at Unisys, where they later became a Senior Software Engineer. In 1991, they joined Minnesota State University, Mankato as a Professor of Computer Science, and later served as Associate Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology. In 2009, they joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a Research Scientist, where they worked on challenging problems of national significance, using high-performance computing and graph algorithms. David designed and built an in-memory graph database system that supports the RDF data model and either SPARQL queries or custom C++ applications calling the API. In 2016, they became the Chief Technology Officer of Trovares.

David Haglin received their B.A. in Math and Computer Science from Concordia College in 1983 and their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 1989.
