Dylan Cooper, P.E. is a Stream Restoration Specialist at Trout Unlimited since February 2020, focusing on the surveying, design, and implementation of stream restoration and habitat enhancement projects across Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia to protect native Brook trout ranges. Prior to this role, Dylan served as Engineer II at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC, where responsibilities included design and engineering for stream and wetland projects, stormwater management, and permitting. Dylan's academic background includes a Master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, where roles ranged from Graduate Teaching Assistant to Project Manager for stormwater projects. Through various internships and early research experiences, Dylan developed expertise in water quality monitoring, sediment analysis, and stormwater management.
