Robert Salas attended PennWest Edinboro from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish. From 1995 to 1997, they pursued further education at the University of Pittsburgh - Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, earning a Master of Public and International Affairs degree. Robert then went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 1996 to 1997, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance. Finally, from 1997 to 2000, Salas participated in the Ford Foundation Program, specializing in Finance.
