Nikhil Sawhney is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbine Limited and a Director with Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited in Noida, India. Nikhil has worked in the field of investment banking and consumer goods in the UK and USA before joining Triveni Engineering in 1999. Nikhil has worked in different positions within the Company overseeing corporate functions like corporate affairs, communications, and investor relations as well as the businesses of sugar sales, water, and wastewater treatment and turbines.

Nikhil has helped found the CII-Triveni Water Institute and is an active trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and the Emmanuel College India Trust, as well as a Fellow of the Aspen Institute of India and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is a member of the Board of Governors of IIM Calcutta and also the Co-Chair of the Ananta Aspen-led India-Israel Forum. Nikhil has been voted one of India's forty 'hottest' business leaders under 40 by The Economic Times in 2015. Nikhil has a Bachelor's degree in Arts and a Master's degree in Arts from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
