Omayma S. is a seasoned data scientist with a rich background in machine learning, currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist at trivago since August 2019. In addition to this role, Omayma S. has been an Instructor for The Carpentries and a Public Speaker at various conferences and meetups since 2017. Previous experience includes positions as a Data Science Team Lead at BasharSoft, Data Scientist at oDesk, and a Researcher for Procter & Gamble GmbH, among others. Omayma S. holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Electronics from Ain Shams University. Further professional development includes participation in a Fall School on AutoML at Université de Fribourg.
