Johannes Thomas currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of trivago since May 2023, having previously held various senior roles at the company from March 2011 to June 2020, including Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director. In addition, Johannes co-founded and serves as an advisor at CoIQ.capital since January 2021. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding OneClick Bookers Ltd, which developed travel microsites in Europe, and working as a Marketing Executive at Isango!. Johannes holds a degree from IU International University of Applied Sciences and completed an Abitur in Economics from Berufsbildende Schule am Museumsdorf.
