Shaunak J. is a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Tristar AI, focusing on core ML algorithms and MLSys since May 2024. As a Graduate Researcher at Boston University, under the guidance of Prof. Bryan Plummer, Shaunak works on domain adaptation and model generalization for foundational vision and language models. Previous experience includes serving as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at UAVIO Labs, where Shaunak developed a multi-object tracking pipeline that achieved 0.87 mAP. Additional education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science with a machine learning specialization from Boston University and participation in multiple prestigious summer schools, including those hosted by Google and IIIT Hyderabad. Shaunak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
