Italo Muralles has work experience as the proprietor of IMI International Consulting starting in January 2018. Before that, they held the role of Vice President, International Operations and Business Development of Mexico and Latin America at Tripp Lite starting in July 2008. In this role, they developed international operations, set up offices and distribution centers worldwide, and managed employees in both Chicago and various global locations.

Italo Muralles attended Northwestern University from 1996 to 1997, where they studied Creative Writing. Prior to that, they attended the College of DuPage from 1981 to 1982, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 1979, Italo studied Mathematics at Northeastern Illinois University, and in 1978 to 1979, they pursued Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology at DeVry University.
