Leigh Chaplin has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Leigh has held various roles in different companies. Leigh's most recent position is as the Head of Test at Uniguest, which they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tripleplay from 2015 to 2023, where they also served as the Head of ProAV Test. Before joining Tripleplay, Leigh worked at Bikers Legal Defence from 2010 to 2014 as an Infrastructure Support Analyst/Programmer, and at Barclays Bank from 1988 to 2010, where they held multiple roles including Citrix Support Analyst, Desktop Support Analyst, MI Analyst/Problem Manager, IT Service Desk Analyst, Senior Business Information Officer, and Cheques Processing Team Leader.

Leigh Chaplin attended Corfe Hills School from 1984 to 1988. During this time, they obtained a CPVE degree in 'Service to Business' with a focus on Business. In terms of additional certifications, Leigh obtained the following: Prince 2 Foundation in November 2007, HDI Helpdesk Certification in April 2005, Institute of Customer Service Award in April 2005, and EFQM/BQF Assessor in September 1998. It is also worth noting that Leigh obtained a PADI Open Water Diver certification, although the exact month and year are not provided. The institution responsible for this certification is PADI.
