John Zhang has a strong background in IT infrastructure and system administration, with over 20 years of experience in various companies. John started their career as a Unix System Administrator at American Axle & Manufacturing Inc., where they were responsible for server hardware and software installation and configuration, system security, and troubleshooting.

John then worked at HP as a Senior Systems Administrator, supporting and maintaining datacenter servers for Ford Motor Company and General Motors. John also worked on building and configuring high availability server clusters and supporting high-performance computing clusters, databases, and applications.

John later joined GE as a Staff Systems Administration Engineer and Infrastructure Architect. In this role, they maintained and supported GE Corporate IT datacenter operations and worked on designing and building server standard solutions to create a more stable environment. John also managed projects and collaborated with different teams to deliver solutions.

After GE, John joined PwC as an Infrastructure & Cloud Architect/Engineer, where they specialized in infrastructure and cloud architecture. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions to meet client needs.

John also has certifications in HP Certified UNIX system and network administrator, HP Certified advanced UNIX system administrator (HP M/C ServiceGuard), SUN Certified UNIX system and network administrator, and SUN Certified advanced administrator for SUN Cluster 3.2, although specific institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
