Daniel Abbey is associate vice president of infrastructure products at Cox Enterprises Inc. (CEI). He is responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of CEI’s network, cybersecurity infrastructure, and platform and automation services (public and private cloud).

He joined CEI’s Engineering in 2011 as the first minority manager of the network engineering team and has since held increasing engineering responsibility for cybersecurity, telephony, collaboration, and mostly recently platform and automation/cloud. Prior to joining Cox, Daniel worked in several senior IT roles at Norfolk Southern Railway, Accenture LLC, and ITC^Deltacom.

He is a graduate of the Wharton Executive Chief Technology Officer 2022 inaugural program, and he holds a B.A. degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University and an MBA in Management of Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
