Yasser Toruno is an experienced engineering professional with a background in software engineering and technology management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager and previously as a Principal Software Engineer at Tripadvisor since April 2020, Yasser has contributed to the company's engineering leadership. Prior to Tripadvisor, Yasser was a Senior Software Engineer at SinglePlatform and founded Access Bazaar, where the innovative approach simplified the wholesale distribution process through a B2B marketplace. Yasser's experience also includes roles at SEVENROOMS, Nomi, Zignage, and the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities ranged from software development to training students in technical problem-solving. Yasser holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from The City College of New York.
