Randolph Krenz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Randolph started their career at Hewlett-Packard, where they served as a Managing Consultant, leading the conception and implementation of a telecommunications "Business Intelligence" data management product. Randolph then co-founded and served as President of Intellesprit Software, where they developed an infrastructural software product for the telecommunications industry.
After that, Krenz joined InCert Software Corporation as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing software engineering, quality assurance, and support. Randolph later joined PeerDirect Corp as Vice President of Products, managing geographically-dispersed teams and enhancing the core replication technology. Krenz then served as President and Vice President of Engineering at ComBrio Inc, a venture capital funded network security company, where they managed all software engineering activities.
In 2010, Krenz became the Vice President of Engineering at AccuRev, where they were responsible for software engineering, product management, quality assurance, and product documentation. Randolph also played a key role in developing an Amazon AWS cloud-based on-demand product evaluation system. Following this, Krenz joined ADVA Optical Networking (formerly Overture Networks) as Vice President R&D - Software, leading the company's entry into network function virtualization and cloud computing.
Most recently, Krenz worked at Federated Wireless as the Senior Director of Software Architecture, where they led architectural and development activities for a massive scale AWS cloud-native, microservice architecture based application. Randolph also played a critical role in building an AWS IOT-based monitoring system.
Currently, Krenz holds the position of Senior Director of Cloud Technologies at Tripadvisor, where they are responsible for overseeing cloud technology initiatives.
Randolph Krenz holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. Randolph has also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, they have obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Loyola University Maryland.
