Reed Lanham has extensive work experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on rail operations and safety compliance. Reed started their career with Herzog Technologies, Inc. as an Assistant Signalman, where they worked on various signal construction projects. Later, they became a Signal QC Inspector and Field Engineer, overseeing the construction and maintenance of signal systems. In 2015, Lanham joined the Fort Worth Transportation Agency as the Director of Safety and Compliance, where they were responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and supervising the System Safety and Compliance Team. Reed then moved up to become the Manager of Rail Operations for the agency. In 2017, Lanham transitioned to Trinity Metro, initially serving as the Vice President of Strategy and Technology. In this role, they led strategic initiatives, managed relationships with regulatory agencies, and oversaw the implementation of Positive Train Control (PTC) efforts. Currently, Lanham holds the position of Vice President of Rail at Trinity Metro, where they provide executive leadership and spearheads the agency's rail operations.
