Edward McDonald has extensive experience in security management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Safety & Security and Director of Security Operations at Trinity Church Wall Street since October 2019. Prior to this role, Edward held key positions at the State of New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority from September 2015 to October 2019, including Assistant Chief Security Officer-Operations, where responsibilities included overseeing field security operations across Metro-North Railroad territories, and managing the Security Command Center. Additional experience includes working as a Security Command Center Site Supervisor for Summit Security Services, personal security specialist through private contracting, and serving as a Police Officer/Detective Second Grade with the New York City Police Department for two decades, overseeing numerous investigations and collaborating with federal agencies on high-profile cases. Edward's educational background includes studies at St. Thomas Aquinas College from 1984 to 1986.
