Bea De la Torre is an experienced professional in philanthropy and urban planning, currently serving as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Trinity Church Wall Street since January 2019. Prior to this role, Bea held the position of Managing Director for Housing and Homelessness at Robin Hood from April 2014 to December 2018, where management of housing and homeless grants for New York City's largest poverty-fighting foundation was key. Additional experience includes positions such as Deputy Commissioner of Strategy and Operations and Assistant Commissioner of Planning, Green and Marketing at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, as well as Executive Director of the BID Program at the Department of Small Business Services. Bea's career also encompasses roles with Mediawire Communications, Community Connect, Latino.com, and American Express, alongside a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
