Jezelle Charles is an experienced forensic toxicologist currently serving as a Scientific Officer II at the Trinidad and Tobago Forensic Science Centre since December 2001. Specializing in the examination and analysis of biological samples, Jezelle employs advanced analytical techniques such as GC-MS, ELISA, and UV-VIS Spectrophotometry to detect illegal drugs, agricultural poisons, and alcohol. Jezelle has previously held roles as a Scientific Officer I and has administrative experience in firearms case management. Additional training includes fellowships at the Virginia Commonwealth University and the New York Office of the Chief Medical Officer, with a solid educational background in Forensic Sciences, Pharmacology, and Psychology from prestigious institutions.
