Keaton Potts has a diverse range of work experience. In 2014, they volunteered at Habitat for Humanity ReStore, where they assisted with customer service, stocking, product preparation, and cleanup. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a produce clerk at Harris Teeter and Publix Super Markets. In 2018, Keaton was a journalist intern at Lumina News, where they conducted interviews and wrote news stories. From 2010 to 2019, they owned and operated their own pressure washing business, ExStream Pressure Washing, developing skills in interpersonal communication, time management, and negotiation. In 2020, Keaton interned as a content creation/digital intern at Maximum Design & Advertising, managing and creating content for real estate clients, including SEO, blog writing, Google Ads management, social media management, and more. In 2020, they also worked as a groundsman at Värsi Tree Service, where they assisted with tree trimming, clearing, and felling jobs. In 2021, Keaton freelanced as a copywriter, designer, and marketer, and later worked as an on-page SEO freelancer at Pushleads.com. Currently, they are serving as a marketing coordinator and working on social media at TriMark Digital.

Keaton Potts earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Keaton also obtained several certifications, including Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in September 2020, Google Ads from Google in May 2021, and Inbound Certification from HubSpot in December 2020.
