Jeff Ligon

Senior Solutions Architect at Trilio

Jeff Ligon has a long and varied work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jeff began their career in 1994 as a Switch Engineer for Ericsson, where they were responsible for planning and engineering for the installation of Ericsson wireless switching systems. Jeff then moved to MCI Worldcom in 1997, where they were a Special Network Planning and Implementation Engineer responsible for monitoring, traffic analysis and capacity planning of MCI WorldCom enhanced voice services networks. In 1999, they moved to EXi Parsons Telecom as a Switch Engineer, where they were responsible for the same job function as Ericsson Switch Engineering, plus additional duties such as Quality Coordinator. In 2004, they joined Nortel as a GSM Translations Engineer, responsible for developing, implementing and supporting GSM MSC software configuration files. Finally, in 2006 they joined Nokia as a Solutions Architect, where they were engaged with Nokia Software product teams to onboard applications onto the Nokia Software Demo Center Platform. In 2021, they joined Trilio as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they are trusted by cloud infrastructure operators and developers for backup and recovery, migration and application mobility.

Jeff Ligon holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
