Matthew Mahaffey is an accomplished construction professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Clemson University. Currently serving as an Assistant Superintendent at Trident Construction, LLC since May 2021, Matthew excels in project management, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Previous experiences include interning as a Project Engineer at Harper General Contractors, where contributions enhanced safety and quality program management on a school construction project, and various roles at Clayton Construction Company, H.G. Reynolds Company, and The Mountain Goat Climbing Gym, where skills in operational management, subcontractor coordination, and team supervision were developed and applied. Matthew also held the position of Vice President for the Associated Builders and Contractors' Clemson University Chapter, focusing on partnership development and event planning within the construction industry.
