Torben Schwartz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Torben started their career as an IT Consultant at ITR-Data in 1987 and later worked as a Project Manager at Meincke A/S from 1989 to 1992, where they then became the Head of IT. From 1993 to 1995, Torben served as the Head of the department at APV. Torben then joined Dandy A/S as a Project Manager from 1995 to 2000. At Grontmij | Carl Bro as, they held the role of Management Consultant from 2000 to 2008, where they worked on various projects related to corporate entrepreneurship, IT product development, performance management, and sales and marketing. Torben also co-authored a book during this time. Following this, they worked as a Manager at NNIT A/S from 2008 to 2009, focusing on managerial responsibilities. Torben then joined COWI A/S as a Senior Consultant from 2009 to 2013. Torben's next role was as the Head of Strategic Business Unit at Intego A/S from 2013 to 2019, where they focused on industrial automation, Industry 4.0, and servitization solutions within the manufacturing industry and infrastructure segments. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Forretningsudvikler, Digitalisering og Industri 4.0 at Erhvervshus Sydjylland. Presently, Torben Schwartz holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Tricloud, which they assumed in January 2022. Torben is also a board member at the same company since June 2021.

Torben Schwartz pursued their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business / University of Southern Denmark. Torben completed their MBA program from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Copenhagen University College of Engineering, which they completed from 1985 to 1989. Furthermore, they started their educational journey at Viborg Katedralskole, where they pursued their secondary education from 1982 to 1985. During this period, they focused on the subjects of Mathematics and Physics.
