Kathleen Malik has a diverse work experience across multiple organizations. Their most recent role is as an Advisory Board Member at the UNC Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship, where they assist the executive director in program development and engages with students and faculty. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as a Director at In-Kind Friends, an organization that connects clients with community partners. Kathleen also had a role as a Director at Tribucha. Earlier in their career, they worked at SAS for a total of 20 years, initially as a Wellness Coordinator and later as an Ergonomics Manager. In these positions, they developed and taught classes on various topics, managed the Ergonomics Program, and brought in guest speakers. Kathleen Malik completed their BM in Music Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. Kathleen continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from 1986 to 1989.
