Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Since February 2011, Michael has held various positions at Guggenheim Securities, currently serving as Managing Director after progressing through roles from Associate to Vice President and Director. Prior to this, Michael worked as an Analyst in Omnium Knowledge Management at Citadel LLC from July 2008 to February 2011, and gained experience as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in the summer of 2007. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2009.
