Michael Martin is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in business development and sales management. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc. since April 2011, Michael specializes in long-term structured electric power purchase and sale transactions within the WECC region, alongside managing sales and purchases of renewable energy credits from wind and solar generation resources. Previously, Michael held the position of Sr. Regional Sales Manager at Xcel Energy from May 1997 to March 2011, focusing on similar transactions and renewable energy credits from company-owned wind generation resources in the WECC and SPP regions. Michael holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University.
